Cupcake embroidery

Wow... I had such a fantastic time today! Craftland are celebrating their very first birthday with a number of cupcake themed events.
Today I attended their “Cupcake embroidery” class. Apart from some good old fashioned gossip amongst girls I learned several new techniques and stitches.

I didn’t get very far during the 2,5 hour workshop (the photo on the top is not my work!) but I’m very keen on finishing it. I would love to make a cupcake brooch out of it but I’m not sure yet how I’ll make it.
