The idea of a laptop bag came to me a while ago when I was figuring out what to do with some left over cherry ribbon. I had been thinking of doing some applique for a while but never really knew what I could do with it...
For the back side of the bag I was inspired by Belgian painter Magritte. I really like his surrealistic paintings and used “Ceci n’est pas une pipe” as an idea to cover one side of the bag.
